Sinopec Group Jinling Branch is a highly-modernized national oversize petrochemical enterprise which offers oil refining service as well as the production and sales of petrochemical products. The alkane circulation needs cooling during the production of alkylbenzene. The original method is to use cooling equipment for indirect cooling, but the gas desulfurization technology needs steam for heating. After considerations, the second class heat pump technology of HYTM has been applied and helped save steam by 60,000 tons per year and the cost saved has been about 12million yuan. This practice is a good demonstration for petrochemical enterprises.

Surplus heat source: the temperature of alkane material was reduced from 127 ℃ to 86-90 ℃ and continued being cooled down. 390m3/h
